Meet the Navigators
I directed and filmed this video for IUP's social media sites. This video aimed to inform students of the navigators on campus in a fun way. The Navigators were a part of IUP's restructuring plan and were implemented as guides to help IUP students navigate college life. At the time this video was posted there wasn't any real introduction to who The Navigators were and this was a first look into them being a part of campus life.
My managers were incredibly pleased with this video and happy with the performance of it. The video received 16.9 thousand views on Instagram. The video does have the office theme music over it as well, but was added later in Instagram.
The Haunting of Breezedale
This video was posted to IUP's social media such as Instagram. Although I did not film this product, I did star, and edit it as well as research the history through interviews and gather information from articles. The video series is to give some background and current use to a building on IUP campus. The building is rumored to be haunted and was posted during the last two weeks of October. The director of brand management asked my team to create content for Halloween but was unsure what to make and this is what myself and my team developed. This is a 3 part series and this particular video (to the right) received 13.3 thousand views on Instagram. Combined the views of the entire three part series on Instagram is 32.8 thousand. Below are the teaser trailer and the final part of the series.
Basketball Trend
This video consists of multiple pictures and screenshots from videos. It has been made to help support IUP Men's Basketball. I developed this video and came up with this concept as a filler video between planned content for IUP's socials. The director of brand management was very happy with the outcome of the video and has amassed 6,000 views on Instagram.
Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC)
This project was created and directed by me. With the help of the student social media team we scheduled an interview with the career and professional development centers associate director. I had one other associate present to help film and check audio. The video was posted on multiple platforms and together reached around 6 thousand views. The director of brand management was very happy with the video and asked for similar projects.
Got Ethics?
This project required me to use commercial photography skills, to create a well lighted image about something I was passionate about. My passion subject was related to the environmental impact the dairy industry has on the world. Please browse through the images, each has a description of the environmental impact made. The entire project did receive an A.
Death of a Bachelor
For this project I used Photoshop to edit the image, by lightening it and removing unwanted items within the picture. This was an outdoor shoot which required knowledge on how to take pictures in manual mode on a DSLR camera. This was not for a grade but was a freelancing project for a motorcycle enthusiast, the post received 146 likes on the subjects personal Instagram account.
Lighting Studio
This project was to showcase my skills in a lighting studio. I focused three different lights onto my subject to create a white light on the face and have a tri-colored shadow effect on the background. This photo was taken on a DSLR camera in manual mode. Every week for a lighting photography class we had to come up with a new concept of lighting and this image was my favorite and suggested by my professor to be entered into photography contests.
This project received an A.
This project also received an honorable mention in the Photo Review 2024 Contest.
After Effects Drippy Text
I decided to learn how to animate text in After Effects. I created this in tribute to my Instagram handle. This is mostly just an example of what I can create but any text can be used. The color can also be altered.
After Effects Text Animation
I wanted to create a fun text animation for the end of a YouTube video. I feel that it would be a great addition to the end of a video just in case whoever is on camera forgets to mention liking and subscribing to their viewers.
